The aim of the NanoQuest project was to bring out a fun 3D game ( targeted at 12 to 14 year old school students ) which would introduce various science related terms and items ( in this case, from the field of NanoTechnology ).

The CanDo team won the tender, and worked with CRANN, the center for NanoTechnology in Ireland, Trinity College Dublin, Discover Science and Engineering ( an Irish government department ) and Fable to create a fun 3D action game.

CanDo delivered all of the interactive 3D programming and 3D modeling for the game, using our in-house game template engines ( character, vehicle, submarine ), as well as creating various bespoke 3D gaming activities.

Over 150,000 NanoQuest CDs ( along with teachers packs ) were sent out to every school in Ireland for free.
